The mayor of a quaint little town has tasked your character with restoring its power. But is there more to this quest than meets the eye? The answers you seek are well protected––you’ll need to fully immerse yourself in the game to solve its mystery.
The decisions you make along the way can lead to 14 possible endings. Where will your search take you? Share your ending # in the comments below!
You can play Agency directly from your web browser (above). The game was designed for the Game Boy Color, so you can also run it on original hardware or an emulator such as Gambatte.
Mobile users: Closing your browser tab after saving your game should be fine, but you may lose saved game data if you close your browser completely.

Mingle! Everyone in town has plenty to say.
Get a clue! If you've pressed the Hint button and still aren't sure what to do next, ask around––someone in town might be able to help. Checking your inventory might jog your memory, as well.
Notes
This beta version has no sound.
An average run-through might last 2-3 hours (longer if you regularly stop in and visit NPCs, explore, etc.), but small bits of progress can be made in minutes, and you can save your game at any time.
There's not a LOT of color, but there's enough that it's recommended to play in full color mode if using an emulator.
Your karma level determines the game's ending variation. Each of the seven story conclusions has a "Low Karma" ending (K<100) and a "High Karma" ending (K≥100).
Future enhancements may include sound, more color, refined menus, longer ending sequences, and more jokes.
Known Bug: Some non-player graphical elements may display incorrectly upon loading a saved game. Simply leave the area and then return to view the graphics as intended.

I love all the little animations. The desk toy in the Major's office, the pointer during night-mode. Lots more to this game than meets the eye.
